Bree!

So, I left Saturday the 26th. I took the Flyaway from LAX to Union Station, where I met up with Black, Amy’s Husband.

They took me to Phillippes the birth place of the french dip, for lunch. After that we wandered over to passadena. Mostly becasue they had been broken into the week before and needed to replace thier computers. Black spent most of his time in the Apple store, while me, Amy and her Friend Stacy wandered and window shopped. I did cave and get shampoo at Lush. Hotel shampoos hate my hair. After a bit, we tried to track down a Food truck with no luck, so Amy and I ended up eatting dinner at the oinkster. That was tasty. After forcing myself onto west coast time, I collapsed on the guest bed.

I woke at 8:30 am west coast time and spend a good hour on Amys front porch drinking coffee. What a great way to start the day, she has a great view of a valley… which I was informed later is not “the valley”. After a bit we had Brunch at Cha Cha Chas . I know it seems like I was doing nothing but eatting, there was alot of talking and wandering too, just not alot things I remember distinctly. It was just catching up talk, and oh, amy is Preggers, so some talk about impending parent hood too.

Afternoon was mostly me enjoying being outside in Amy’s back garden while she took a nap. (she is 8 month preggers yo) and we got dinner at senor fish. She dropped me off at my hotel, and we planned to keep in touch over the week.

I had forgotten how much I missed Amy.

This whole past month has been disquieting.  The Migraines, the Blob  from Ute,  Work and thats just the normal stuff.

Its amazing what you have to do when you are a single person and away from family. And whats more amazing is how people dont seem to get it.

Bree Just checked mail. Got wedding invite. The rule is if you did not come to my college graduation celebration, or my masters degree party I aint fucking going to your wedding. I dont want to hear any buts, the 2 people who helped me celebrate either, I went to thier weddings. the rest of yall will have to suck it.

My new best friend, who knew he was going to be british?

So, my uterus hates me. Its gotten to the point I refer to it as the Ute. Further proof that not only valentines day but the ute hates me was yesterday.

Conversation with my friend V over google talk this morning.

me: a med student yester day put and trans vaginal ultrasound probe up my hooha with no lube. after passing a clot the size of a peep. a hororr movie inspired jello like peep. happy valentines day to me
V: OMG!!!! Did you kill said med student ?
me: no but I did “accidently” kick him in the head
V: good!
me: I hate my ute
V: it hates you too

we got dumped on. there are pictures in my flickr. I only shiveled enough to get out of the driveway. Im a lazy ass.

Im lonely.

Woke up to the sound of my waterpipes not being happy. Sigh. There is 2 repairmen wandering my apartment right noww, nor really repairing anything. At least it doesnt look like it.

So, personal day off work while someone goes through the back wall of my closet to access pipes.

Its like I dont work anymore. I miss work. I am eagar to be in the office tomorrow.

I heard a rumor on the NOAA website that SnOMG is coming later this week. sigh.
