Delayed Halloween Update

So, I went to NYC for halloween. I took the Bolt Bus down and arrived on the corner of 8 th and 34th. Keeley was there to meet me. She wanted to see the NYC Public Library and she insisted it was on 38th street. We ended up walking, and thats when I found out that Doc Martins that you havent worn in 6 months are not the best choice in comfortable footware. I also discovered I was way more out of shape than I originally thought. Walking probably would have been fine in better foot ware. We saw the main library. And I didnt kill Kelley. I don’t think traveling with her will ever be a good idea.
A few hours later we met up with Holly and Morna at Port Authority. It had been close to 10 years since I had seen them. That is awesome. Form there we hung around in front of Madame Tueseaus for Ben and Darryl to arrive. OMG. I missed those guys.
Madame T’s is overpriced even with the student discount, but it did provide a good activity where we could chat and catch up at the same time. From there we went to the hotel. A tiny over priced hotel that Kelley choose. My room in my apartment is bigger.
It started to rain while were trying to get to the parade, we ended up eatting at someplace random. The food was kinda bad. I chatted with this British couple they where awesome. Then I dragged everyone over to Magnolias to get my damn cupcake. We went to a bar afterwards where Holly Darryl and I where fine and talking but we were out voted by Kelley and Morna and they wanted to go back to the hotel room.
Back to the hotel room we went. We all hung out until 3.
The next day we had breakfast accross the street. My ATM card stopped working grr. We got on the wrong train, ended up at 125th street, saw the Apollo theater. Met up with Ben at 72nd street and Central Park West. The marathon was still kind of going on so it was a madhouse and we could not get into the park. By the time Ben was able to cross the park it was time to go.
the end.

Lesson, more than 3 people too big a group without a distint leader. I do not like leader position when everyone questions everything. Seriously. People only got lost when I wasnt leading or when they challenged my directions. Hates.

I didnt end up getting to go to the Automat or Tea and Sympathy. Fought over walking 40 blocks. Too big a group. Bah.

But really I had most fun when one on one with people at Madame T’s and when I was taking pics in the village alone and when I was talking to Daryl and Holly at the bar.

It was a good trip, just disorganized.
