I am surprizingly torn up about the passing of Ted Kennedy. Don’t get me wrong here, I realize the man was not perfect, and that he was a skirt chasing alcoholoc for a sizable amount of time…
But I also know that he was well aware of his Class, Skin, and Male privledge. I do think he was a true altruist.

His office was always very kind to me. It was his office that helped me out when I had trouble at U Mass, and them not understanding my immagration status. His office actually sent someone, to help me! It was his office that helped when I was having passport issuses. And anyone that remembers my passport issuses, will remember how horribly wrong it went, until I called his office…
I’ll also remember Senator Kennedy from my first year in Boston, he personally without any press, I think it was just his driver with him, dropped off a trunk load of presents at the New England Homeless Vets/Toys for Tots. He was quick in and out as to not draw any attention to himself. I didn’t even realize it was him until one of the staff thanked him on his way out.
