School is starting soon, and Im looking forward to being busy again. When I am not busy I get far too much time on my hands. I will not be going to Morrocco in January. I won’t be going on any adventures soon, and really its better that I don’t look too far forward. When I graduate I don’t think anyone is coming, so Im not even going to take time off for it. What I am going to do is work on doing my job better, and doing better in my classes.
Dating sucks, I havent had a date since …. March? I have’nt had any respondses to my emails I sent out to other profiles. I deleted my match.com profile and I will be deleting my okcupid tonight. Seriously, I can;t get a date, and yes, I’ve tried. Dont give me that itll happen when you’re not looking shit either. Guys dont like me. I finally get it. They jsut really don’t.
With that liberating knowledge I am going to throw myself back into work and school, and when school ends, I don’t know but there are some classes in welding and cooking I have been wanting to take. I’ve also been wanting to get back into making website on the side, as well as maybe even learning how to sew. Just keeep busy, right?
I have been wanting to travel again, but that doesnt look like its going to happen, so I will focus that into other projects too…
If there is one thing I can always count on, its disappointment.
Grrr… I am so annoyed with people bringing up chappaquidick as the only thing the man ever did. Both from the Left and the right… My god, like you have never made a mistake. Ever. Yeah, most people wouldnt be able to hold a job after all that, let alone make time for anyone that needed his help, and work for progressive change in this country that is felt by EVERYONE who isnt a rich white man.

I am surprizingly torn up about the passing of Ted Kennedy. Don’t get me wrong here, I realize the man was not perfect, and that he was a skirt chasing alcoholoc for a sizable amount of time…
But I also know that he was well aware of his Class, Skin, and Male privledge. I do think he was a true altruist.

His office was always very kind to me. It was his office that helped me out when I had trouble at U Mass, and them not understanding my immagration status. His office actually sent someone, to help me! It was his office that helped when I was having passport issuses. And anyone that remembers my passport issuses, will remember how horribly wrong it went, until I called his office…
I’ll also remember Senator Kennedy from my first year in Boston, he personally without any press, I think it was just his driver with him, dropped off a trunk load of presents at the New England Homeless Vets/Toys for Tots. He was quick in and out as to not draw any attention to himself. I didn’t even realize it was him until one of the staff thanked him on his way out.

I went to the beach last saturday with Lindsey and Julie.. It was great, I am still not used to swimming in the ocean, but man, it was clear water. Even then I was up to my neck I could still see my feet. By the way, best donuts ever are in Duxbury, who knew? However, I was a lobster by the end of the day. I got home and immediately showered and went to target for aloe. OMG, I thought it wouldnt be that bad, but I was wrong by tuesday I saw the doctor because I was blistering. I have to keep an eye out for infections. but as long as I keep it clean that shouldnt be a problem. Mental note. Get spray water proof sunscreen.
Right now I am on the itchy part of the burn and slowly going bonkers because of it.
Wednesday, I recieved a phone call from Jon… it kinda went like this…
Jon: “Wench, why arent you coming to my wedding?”
Me: Cuz its far, and Im broke.
Jon: Gimme 10 mins I will call you back
12 mins pass.
Jon: Wench! Check yer email.
There was a frequent flier ticket to Seattle for his wedding.
I have the bestest friends.
I also have google voice, which is letting me call canada for free, thats kinda nice.
And hrmm, oh yeah didnt I mention I was itchy? itch itch.
I am suffering through tight braces, itchyness, and my period this weekend. Man will I be fun to be around.
its cold and rainy here. which doesnt help when your teeth hurt ( teef hoit) because you dentist a is mean and super tightens your retainer. I had a Peanutbutter smoothie for lunch. I am back on squishy foor for a while. Sigh. Tommorrow is Chris’ birthday, summer is drawing toa close… I have tomorrow off. Not sure what Im going to do with it off.
Really nothing exciting is happening around here lately.

Oh, I watched men in skirts throw trees and sledgehammers around. Ate butter tablet. had haggis and meat pie. Bought really good shortbread.
Discovered where all the rich people hand out, and its scary.
Next weekend I think I am going to go to CT for a pow wow at the Mohegan reservation. Its being billed as a wig wam fest.
I am officially delted off of match.com and okcupid. No one ever emailed me.
I am bound and determined to do something fun this weekend. Determined I say!!
I have not recieved an email from anyone on okcupid or match since I joined the sites… wait I take that back, on okcupid a guy from wales and a married guy emailed me.
I give up. I just need to find a hobby or something,.
I dont know whats wrong with me that no one in the universe is intrested, but my tolerance for rejection is gone.
